Has it really been a month since my last entry? Where has the time gone? What have I done during this time?
I enjoyed some great family time.
My family moved to a different apartment.
I had a birthday!
I survived a week with my wife gone to help a friend.
I helped friends with their day VBS.
Denise and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary at TGI Friday's in Kiev with a great steak dinner. I am so thankful for her. She really is my better half.
I had some great fellowship with many friends.
I said good bye to a friend.
I prayed with some people for different needs. I prayed a prayer of repentance with a young man. I prayed with another young man to recommit his life to Christ.
I studied Russian.
I enjoyed some beautiful summer days.
I attended several church services, one of which was in English (a rare treat here!).
I had a blast at a new water park in Kiev.
I had my daily devotions, spending time in the Bible (both English and Russian).
I played some computer games.
I continued developing relationships.
Did I mention I had some great family time?
I did many more things, some good and some bad.
Am I using my time for things of lasting value? Or am I just looking out for myself?
The Bible tells us in Ephesians 3:29 (The Message), "Make the most of every chance you get. These are desperate times!"
I have only 24 hours in every day. I need God's help to use my time wisely.
How about you?
